Monochrome in the Shadows reveals a zebra emerging from almost complete darkness, its form defined by the areas of its face, body and distinctive markings caught by the light.
Much of the animal disappears into black, leaving the eye, stripes and contours to define its presence. The simplicity of the composition draws attention to details that might otherwise be lost within the familiar pattern of the zebra.
A darker interpretation of a familiar subject, created for the VYZN CRTV Black Edition.
